Step 1: Pick a food for your bird's size
Start with a food made for your bird's size. CONGO has options for small birds (budgies, lovebirds, finches), medium birds (cockatiels, conures) and large parrots (African greys, macaws, cockatoos).
- Seed mixes β herbal seed mixes in 900 gm and 1 kg packs.
- Fruit pellets and sticks β Fruitoze in 500 g and 1 kg packs.
- Grain pellets β for daily feeding of larger birds.

Step 2: Add one or two toys
Birds need to chew and play. A wooden chew toy, a swing or a ladder is a good place to start. Choose a size that matches your bird. See all bird toys and cage accessories.
Step 3: Consider supplements only with vet advice
Items such as calcium blocks, mineral grit and powders are optional. Speak with a qualified avian vet before adding any supplement to your bird's routine. You can view our supplements when you are ready.
